Arthur “Joe” Klein, 71 of Cranberry Township, PA passed away Friday, August 10 at UPMC Passavant Hospital. He was born in McKeesport, PA on October 6, 1946 to the late Arthur Klein and Lillian Dominick. Joe proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War doing two active tours of duty as a helicopter pilot. He was awarded numerous medals including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Distinguish Flying Cross. He was honorably discharged in 1975 as a highly decorated Captain. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister Esther Klein. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet Bradish-Klein; brothers Gerald (Linda) Klein and Paul (Susan) Klein; his sister Sherri (Ken) Jones and step-father Ray Dominick. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Buddy and Maggie Mae. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM on August 24, 2018, at Hope Lutheran Church on Rowan Road in Cranberry Township. Following the service a full military honors burial will commence at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville. Memorial donations in Joe’s honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charity at dav.org.
