Anna Maude Nelson, age 99, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Born on December 14, 1926, Anna grew up in Speers, where she developed the strength, kindness, and quiet resilience that shaped her long and meaningful life.
Anna was a devoted mother and friend whose gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She lived with grace, gratitude, and unconditional love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Nelson, in April 2000, and her son, Charles Nelson, in September 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Greggo, and son-in-law, Alan Greggo; her son, Clifford Nelson; her grandson, Austin (Courtney) Nelson; her great-grandchildren, Collyns and Noah Nelson; and her extended family.
A private burial service will be held for the family at Monongahela Cemetery.
Her family takes great comfort in knowing she lived 99 remarkable years and is now at peace.
