Andrew Joseph Goad, age 23 of Adams Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Andrew was born on April 1, 2001, and he brought immense joy into the lives of all who knew him, with his bright smile and unwavering strength in the face of adversity. He was a 2021 graduate of the ACLD Tillotson School.
Andrew had many passions in his life. He lived for his family, especially his parents and his brothers. He loved sports, playing adaptive soccer and Miracle League baseball. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh Penguins, Ohio State University, and Cincinnati Bengals fan, a world-class cuddler, and a sensitive soul who worried more about others than himself. Andrew was a lover of all things Pixar and Disney, having visited the Disney parks many times and even touring Pixar Studios through Make-A-Wish. He was always smiling, despite facing many serious health conditions since birth – making him a beloved patient to all of the doctors and nurses who worked with him over the years.
He was the beloved son of N. Robert Goad, Jr. and Anne (DeBrunner) Goad and a cherished brother of Cameron and Matthew. He leaves behind his paternal grandmother Beneta Goad, maternal grandmother Nancy DeBrunner, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, caregivers, and friends. His grandfathers, the late N. Robert Goad, Sr. and Gerald DeBrunner, greeted him in heaven. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome on Friday, June 7th from 4-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Andrew will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 10 am at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, PA.
Contributions in Andrew’s memory can be made to Make-A-Wish of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia and The Miracle League of Southwestern, PA.

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18
