January 01, 1970

On the evening of Wednesday, January 19, 2022, Alyce Kreutzer, loving mother of four, passed away at age 86.

Alyce was born on June 5, 1935, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Alice Zeise Peel. On June 14, 1958, she married Edward Anthony Kreutzer. They raised four children: Jeffrey (Laura), Gary (Ana), Bruce (Michelle) and Lisa (Daniel) Groff.

Alyce was fiercely independent, loved her glass of wine, going out to lunch with friends, and spending time every summer at Virginia Beach with family and friends. Her eight grandchildren were the most important thing in her life.

Alyce was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ed, and her two sisters, Ida Mae Mehalov and Geraldine Harrell. She is survived by her four children; her eight grandchildren: Nathan Kreutzer, Benjamin Kreutzer, Seth Kreutzer, Luke Kreutzer, Lucy Kreutzer, Abby Kreutzer, Justin Groff, and Dana Groff; and her sister Marilyn Gerthoffer.

Because of COVID, the family will plan a celebration of life when family and friends can gather together safely, hopefully this summer.
