John R. Police, 91, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1934, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, to the late Ethel and John Police.
John was one of 11 children raised in a large Italian immigrant family. His upbringing shaped his strong values, humility, faith, and devotion to hard work. John’s love for his family was deep and everlasting. He was a man who led with empathy and generosity, two qualities instilled in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
John graduated from Stowe High School in 1953 and spent the majority of his career as a production supervisor at A. Stucki Company. His coworkers often described him as dependable, honest, and always willing to help others.
A devoted Catholic, John practiced his faith through service, kindness, and community. He was deeply involved in his parish, volunteering countless hours in the church kitchen, especially during the beloved fish fries where his warmth and willingness to help always prevailed. John was also a proud and active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he formed lasting friendships, while continuing a lifelong commitment to faith and service.
Above all, John cherished his beloved wife of 71 years, Connie. Together, they built a beautiful life grounded in faith, family, laughter and unconditional love. Their marriage was a true partnership of devotion and mutual support. Connie and John loved traveling, creating traditions, and sharing moments that brought the entire family together.
A man of many passions, John was known for his baking, with specialties of homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, and biscotti, all of which he enthusiastically shared. John was an avid cyclist and spirited competitor in horseshoes, bocce ball, billiards, cornhole, and darts. John did everything with a warm heart, kindness and humor.
John is survived by his cherished daughter, Jackie (Chuck) Fusina, and sons, Rick (Janice) and Ron (Kim). He is a proud grandfather, remembered with love by his grandchildren: Matt (Sarah), Shannon, Stephanie (Chris), Lauren, Jessica (Colin), Jason, and Ben. He is also leaving a beautiful legacy as a great-grandfather to Sofia, Isabelle, Paxton, and Adelyn. John was a loving brother to Betty, Jimmy, Donna, and is preceded in death by siblings Helen, Anthony, Enis, Mary, Rosie, Frank, and young Jimmy. He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
