Service: Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
Grace Murtha, 92, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 18, 2025. Wife of the late Jack Bonant and second husband John Murtha; mother to the late Thomas Bonant, Steven Bonant, and two daughters; grandmother to Stephen Parise, Andrea (Timothy Mazzocca) Parise, Nicholas Parise; great grandmother to Sofia, Rafael, and Emanuel; sister to Raymond, Marlene Hart, the late Thomas, Edward, David, and Richard; God mother to Linda McKowen (Jim).
Grace was a dedicated secretary who devoted many years of service to GE, John Hancock Insurance, and Krigger and Co. Her commitment and hard work were greatly appreciated.
Outside of her professional life, Grace found immense joy in spending time with her family. These moments were precious to her, and she cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with her loved ones. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Grace. It was a joy to talk with her and see Grace’s smile. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
My sister Grace and I were always close for many years visiting calling writing frequently and gifts back and forth She was a good Big Sister. My daughters also were very close to their Aunt Grace with phone calls letters and gifts . We will always miss her
Grace was my aunt and godmother. We wrote to each other ever since I could write a letter. She loved to write letters, and often spoke about her German pen pal. She was a very thoughtful, kind, loving and giving person. I will deeply miss her.
grace has always been in my family’s and mine life, my mother and grace grow up togather as best friends and remained friends later in life grace married my moms brother and they because sister in laws.. i will always remember grace as the loving women that no matter what she was going through she was always there with a warm heart, kind words,and prayers. always in our hearts.
Deepest sympathy to Steve and Grace’s family. I had the pleasure to know her for more than 50 years and she was one of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve ever known.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
