Catherine (Kit) Marie Staub
Age 97, of Seven Fields, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Born May 12, 1925, daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Schenker) Calcagno; loving wife of the late Wilbert (Wib), beautiful mother of Cheryl (Fred) Samson, and their children, Jeff (Beth) and Greg; Darlene (Chuck) Staub, and their children, Bradley, Jonathan (Ray), Lauren (Justin); and Andrea (Mike) Wheeler, and their son Jim (Diana); cherished great-grandmother of Evan, Connor, Emma, Parker, Aiden, and Eliana; sister of Lois (the late Art) Page, and her brother, the late Frank Calcagno.

She met the love of her life, they were married for 54 years, and together they raised a beautiful family. The highlight of her life was watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. They were blessed to call her “GiGi.” Besides spending time with her family, Kit spent countless hours volunteering with the Living Stations Ministry, Comfort Blankets, and the church. She loved to travel with her husband and friends too.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 am at St. Kilian Church, with Rev. Charles Bober officiating. Private internment will be held at Allegheny County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Catherine’s name to the Saint Kilian Living Stations Ministry or Shriner’s Hospital.
