Genevieve P. Carr, age 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 with her family at the home of her devoted daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Dave Lyne and her grand-daughter Aaren Metz in Allison Park, with whom she resided during the past year. Born October 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James and Freida Kennedy. She married George J. Carr on May 30, 1941 who preceded her in death on August 9, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her son Daniel F. Carr on July 26, 2015 and her grand-daughter Gina Carr on April 20, 2014. She is survived by her loving children and spouses Carol Carr, Marianne (Joseph) Caufield, Sally (Gary) Youngker, Thomas (Deborah) Carr, Kathleen (Charles) Becker, Patricia (Dave) Lyne, Mark Carr and her 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren, whom were such an important part of her life.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Athanasius Church,7 Chalfonte Ave. Pgh, PA 15229 on Friday 10AM.
