Of Westview, on Monday, January 30, 2017. Beloved husband and best friend of 23 years to Linda J. (McLaughlin) Mankey; loving father of Ashley E. Krause (Justin); brother of David Mankey (Joy), Robert Mankey (Holly), Barbara Mankey and Ted Mankey (Lori); also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received Wednesday 6-8 and Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Friday 10 a.m. Bill served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, was a member of West View Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2754, was past District 29 VFW Commander, past Post Commander, served as Department of PA Chief of Staff for Commander Frank G. Mills. He was currently serving the VFW Department of PA as Assistant Sergeant at Arms. Bill worked for the Port Authority for 25 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to CORE would be appreciated.
