Age 78, of McCandless Twp., on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Husband of the late Kathleen “Kitty Bea” Joyce; loving father of John M. McNamara III (Melissa), Karen McNamara, Daniel G. McNamara, and the late Brian J. McNamara; grandfather of Evan, Conner, Sara, and Maureen. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mac was a member of Steamfitters Local 449 and proud member of the Peabody High School City Championship Football Team, 1953. Member of McCandless Twp. Democratic Committee. Family and friends received Sunday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of Avila Church Monday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in Christ Our Redeemer, North Side Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
