age 83 of McCandless Twp. died at Passavant Hospital. He was born in Pgh son of Ferdinand and Ann Matlon Dvorsky. He was a retired salesman for Joseph Horne Co. WWII Army Veteran. Member of the 12th Infantry I Co. of the 4th Infantry Division. A D-Day Survivor, earning a purple heart and 5 bronze stars. Charter member of the Slovak Club, Charter member of Oliver High School Alumni Club, former Church Council Pres. of St. Gabriel’s Church, and former Pres. of the Holy Name Society and an usher at St. Gabriel’s Church, Former Pres. of the Slovak Catholic Sokol Chapter 104.
Survived by his wife, Regina Herstich Dvorsky, a son, Frank P. Dvorsky, Jr. and his wife, Mary of Murrysville and a daughter, Donna J. Clevenger and her husband, Dr. Robert of Mt. Washington. 4 grandchildren, Kristin, Brian, and Lauren Dvorsky and Jessica Clevenger. 2 sisters, Elizabeth Plichta and Helen Dvorsky, 1 brother, Norbert Dvorsky.
Visitation Tues. 7-9 PM and Wed. 2-4, 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in Risen Lord Parish, North Side, Thurs. Sept. 27, 2001 at 10:00 AM. Burial in North Side Catholic Cemetery, Ross Twp.
