John C. “Jack” Malady

John “Jack” C. Malady passed away on Friday, May 8 at the age of 90. He was the loving husband of Angela Costantino Malady, with whom he enjoyed 66 years of marriage; cherished father of Kevin Malady, Barbara (James) Blake, Richard (Peggy) Malady, and Carol Malady; caring grandfather of Deirdre, Siobhan, Richard, Joseph, Annemarie, Sean, Christopher, Brian, Nicholas, and Jessica; great-grandfather of Laura, Aiden, Ian, and Jack; brother of Terrance Malady, the late Helen Sullivan, and the late Thomas Malady. Jack was a Lieutenant on the USS Lloyd Thomas stationed in Newport, RI, where he met his beautiful wife Angela. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame as an electrical engineer and became a design engineer for Westinghouse, during which time he travelled to Europe, China, and South America. Jack enjoyed golfing and curling with friends and family. Upon retirement, he took up his passion for winemaking, and his “Knob Hill Estates” label graced many of his friends and family’s tables. Jack will be remembered always for his kind smile, contagious laughter, and of course his famous tin roof sundaes. Due to the COVID-19 situation, services and interment will be private. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pgh, PA 15212. Arrangements by DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY.
