Dr. Elizabeth Ann (Brennfleck)
Age 76, of Bradfordwoods, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. Beloved wife for 49 years of Todd Pascuzzi; Loving sister of Pat Brennfleck; Proud aunt of Eric Brennfleck (Markie), Sarah Krelow (Nicholas), and Julie Mahler (Zach); Cherished great-aunt of Dayton, Collin, Paisley, Leo and Nash; Betty is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Friends will be received on Saturday, January 17th from 1-5PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Highway, Pgh, PA 15229.
Betty was a proud graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in English and history. Her first professional position was English teacher at St. Anselm High School in Swissvale where she also directed the school plays and musicals, her favorite being The Fantasticks by Tom Jones. Teaching was her foremost passion, but unfortunately the school would have to close. Betty then went on to earn the degree of Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University. Betty’s success in both her personal and professional life arose from her exceptional ability to interact with people of all ages and positions whether they were her friends, students, associates or superiors. She was motivated, hardworking and ambitious. She established her own consulting firm, Pascuzzi & Associates, Inc., and chaired the Pittsburgh ASTD E-Learning Expo in the 2004-2006. She served as a counselor and teacher to numerous healthcare organizations across the country, helping them to upgrade existing software or install new programs to better serve their doctors and patients.
In spite of her physical limitations (or perhaps because of them) her inner strength and tenacious perseverance served her well throughout her entire life.
We greatly miss Betty, but we will long remember the good times we had with her, particularly the wonderful family Christmas Eves, as we celebrate the incredible person she was and all that she lovingly and courageously achieved throughout her lifetime.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Betty’s memory.

We love and miss you Betty!
Ms. Brennfleck/Pascuzzi. As a student of St. Anselm’s High School and Light Tech of some of the plays we put on I remember Ms. B as a wonderful teacher and friend to all students in her classroom. Not being a huge fan of English classes through my school years I must say English was a bright light the years I spent in her class. She was a wonderful teacher and a friend when you needed one. My God grant her every wonderful thing in Heaven and Rest Her Soul in Peace. She will be missed but never forgotten by her students.
Betty and I were classmates at Nova Southeastern University. Such a lovely person. So very sorry for your loss.
